How we use your information
We respect your privacy. Your data is used only to keep the app working. No ads, no marketing, no hidden agendas 😊.
Custom avatars and selected photos
If you create a custom avatar from a person's or animal's photo, you must be the adult account holder and have permission to use that photo, including a child's photo. Choose a photo containing only the intended person or animal.
The selected photo is sent securely to Google Cloud Vision and Google's enterprise generative AI service to check the image, identify a single face or animal, make a temporary crop, and generate the illustrated avatar. Tiny Tales processes the original and crop transiently in memory and does not store them. Tiny Tales does not use them for advertising or AI training.
Only the generated avatar you accept is stored privately with your account. It remains until you replace or remove it, delete the character, or delete your account. You can return to a regular Tiny Tales avatar at any time in the character editor.
How we use external recordings
When submitting a story recording, the external user agrees that Tiny Tales will store the recorded story audio and that it will be made available in the app only to the internal Tiny Tales user who sent the recording invitation. No other Tiny Tales user will have access to this recording.
In addition to the audio and the narrator name indicated by our internal Tiny Tales user, we do not store any data related to the external user who makes the recording. Therefore, the only way to request removal of the recording is through the same user who sent the invitation.
Changes
We may update our privacy policy without notice. We recommend that you review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
